Zwingli

About This Coffee

Zwingli is an espresso blend created for the coffee shop opening at Zwingliplatz 3 in Zürich. This blend consists of 70% Arabica from Mexico (washed) and 30% Robusta from Vietnam (honey process). The Mexican Arabica provides clarity and structure, while the Vietnamese Robusta adds depth, intensity, and dense crema. The coffee features intense notes of dark chocolate and candied almonds with pleasant sweetness and full body. The acidity is deliberately restrained, making it accessible and harmonious. The Arabica component includes Typica, Bourbon, Catuai, and Sarchimor varieties, while the Robusta is Canephora. Mexican beans are grown up to 1350 meters altitude, and Vietnamese beans at 600-1100 meters.
