Founded in 2016 by Maria Jose Palacio, a fifth generation Colombian coffee farmer, and John Trabelsi, Progeny Coffee bridges producer and consumer in powerful ways. Based in Oakland CA with roastery operations in Palo Alto, they source all beans from sustainable farms in Colombia, ensuring transparency and continuity. Their mission extends beyond coffee to addressing root economic challenges: they work directly toward taking coffee farmers out of poverty through fair compensation and long term relationships.
