Sambalatte

United States

Brazilian native Luiz Oliveira founded Sambalatte in Las Vegas in 2010, drawing on a decade spent traveling coffee farms across South America, Europe, and the United States and 28 years in hotel food and beverage at four and five diamond resorts. That combination of origin knowledge and hospitality training defines the operation. Oliveira maintains direct relationships with producers through regular farm visits, hand selecting and blending beans with a focus on traceability from harvest to roast. The roastery's master roaster holds Q Grader certification from the Specialty Coffee Association, and daily cuppings in a dedicated coffee lab ensure each lot meets their standard. Sambalatte has been named Best Coffee in Las Vegas for three consecutive years, a reflection of bringing specialty grade sourcing and precision roasting to a city not historically known for either.
