Soul Coffee Roasters is the passion project of Rinosh Nasar, who launched the brand in 2014 with the goal to resurrect the forgotten glory of Ceylon Coffee in a country that has become famous for tea. They are committed to sourcing locally, working directly with smallholder farmers in the cool central highlands to ensure ethical pay and sustain the local agriculture. Instead of just importing prestigious beans from abroad, they are proving that Sri Lankan beans can actually hold their own, roasting them to meet international specialty standards right in Colombo.
