MY LIBERICA

About This Coffee

This coffee is Liberica from MY LIBERICA plantation in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia, grown at very low altitude (0–20 m). Cherries are processed using an Anaerobic Natural method with 26 days fermentation in sealed barrels, then dried in a temperature- and humidity-controlled greenhouse. Tasting notes include peach, red date, caramelized sugar and a stevia-like sweetness. These are unroasted (green) Liberica beans suited for roasters experimenting with fruity, fermented profiles.

MY LIBERICA

MY LIBERICA is Malaysia’s first specialty Liberica coffee producer and roastery working with a truly unique part of the coffee world: Liberica beans. They grow, process, roast and sell their own beans from a farm and processing mill in Kulai, Johor, controlling the entire seed-to-cup chain to ensure quality and consistency. The Liew family estate uses advanced processing methods, including anaerobic natural and honey processes developed with world-class baristas, to coax out bold, intense sweetness with notes like jackfruit, berries, chocolate and caramel. Their beans have been used on the World Barista Championship stage, helping Malaysian competitors place highly and increasing Liberica’s profile internationally. If you’re curious about something truly distinctive, MY LIBERICA is a standout Malaysian specialty option.
