This coffee is an Esperanza F1 hybrid variety from Aquiares Estate in Costa Rica, located on the slopes of Turrialba volcano at high altitude. The farm is one of few producing Esperanza at commercial scale. The cup profile features cacao nibs, dulce de leche sweetness, and strawberry notes with citrus brightness reminiscent of lemon verbena.
