Augusto Carneiro, a Brazilian native, founded Nossa Familia Coffee in Portland, Oregon in 2004 after leaving an engineering career to pursue his passion for coffee. His familys connection to coffee cultivation runs deep: great grandfather and three brothers planted the familys first crop in Brazils highlands in 1890, establishing a legacy that spans over a century.
