About This Coffee

This single origin Gesha coffee is from the Las Alasitas farm in Bolinda, Caranavi, La Paz region of Bolivia, grown at 1600-1650 meters altitude. The coffee is processed using the Coco Natural method, an innovative technique where cherries are naturally processed and dried on patios for 48-72 hours before being transferred to stationary "coco" box dryers inspired by peanut drying. These steel containers use gentle warm air flow and regular manual stirring for slow, even drying across two weeks. The Rodríguez family manages the farm through Agricafe's Buena Vista mill, with trained pickers selectively handpicking only the ripest cherries. The coffee features tasting notes of Concord grape, bergamot tea, hazelnut, and milk chocolate.
