About This Coffee

A natural-processed coffee from Sitio Portella farm in Caldas, Minas Gerais, Brazil, grown at 1100–1260 meters altitude in a volcanic belt. Produced by Edir José de Carvalho and family since 1994, this Yellow Catuai variety was harvested in September 2024. The Yellow Catuai cultivar, developed by the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC) in 1949, was awarded 8th place at the 2019 Brazil Cup of Excellence. Recommended for filter brewing with complex flavor notes of guava, chocolate, raspberry, blackcurrant, and a hint of melon.
