Choco Dawn

About This Coffee

Choco Dawn is a Colombian regional lot of Caturra and Castillo varieties, cultivated by several growers in the Tablón de Gómez region of Nariño. Grown at altitudes between 1,800 and 2,100 metres in volcanic ash-rich soil, the cool climate and mountainous topography encourage slow cherry ripening and natural sweetness. Beans dry for 20–25 days due to frequent rainfall. Produced in collaboration with the Terra association, the Cafes Especiales de Nariño cooperative, and importer Cofinet. Scored over 86 points, with a dark chocolate and fruity aromatic profile.
