About This Coffee

This Colombian coffee comes from the highlands of Cauca, a region known for balance, clarity, and consistency in the cup. Grown at high elevations in mineral-rich volcanic soils, this coffee delivers bright fruit character supported by a smooth, nutty sweetness. Cauca has a long tradition of smallholder coffee farming. Most farms here are under one hectare, allowing producers to carefully harvest and process their coffee by hand. The result is a clean, well-structured coffee that performs beautifully across a range of brew methods.

UE Coffee Roasters

UE Coffee Roasters was founded in 2009 by Dominic Boyett in Witney, Oxfordshire, with the roastery established in 2012. The team brings over 50 years of combined experience in specialty coffee and roasts Monday through Friday at their production facility, which is visible to visitors through the adjoining roastery café. They source from 58 farms through direct, long standing trading relationships, and every wholesale partner receives on site quality control visits every six weeks. Beyond roasting, the business offers SCA barista training courses, equipment rental programmes, loose leaf tea blending, and a white label roasting service. All packaging is 100% recyclable, and the company works with machine partners including Victoria Arduino, Conti, Rocket, and Mahlkonig.
