This specialty coffee originates from the Huila region in Colombia. It is sourced from local communities, reflecting the unique characteristics of the region's coffee production.
Animal Coffee started as a small specialty coffee space in Barcelona's Sarria neighbourhood in 2015 and began roasting its own beans the following year. They work exclusively with 100% Arabica, using a light roasting approach adapted to each origin to draw out its characteristic notes. Roasting happens weekly to keep deliveries as fresh as possible. Beyond the roastery, they run a barista training centre offering courses from beginner to advanced levels, as well as consultancy for businesses setting up coffee operations. They supply roasted beans to offices and private customers across Spain.
