Michael and Karen Thomas launched Poppet's Coffee in 2020 during the pandemic from a modest 10 by 16 foot backyard shed in Kettering OH in the Dayton area. What began as a pandemic project has evolved into a specialized roasting operation offering over 50 flavored coffees, 30 to 40 single origin specialty blends, and more than 200 different teas. Their brand message, 'Roasting Beans for All Characters,' reflects their inclusive philosophy that coffee should bring joy and variety to every palate and personality.
