La Serranía Decaf is a dark roast Colombian coffee sourced from over 20 producers in the Huila region, grown in the areas around Pitalito, Acevedo, and Palestina along an isolated mountain range in the Andes. Each coffee cherry is hand-sorted on the farms and dried with precision before being decaffeinated at the Descafecol facility in Manizales using the natural EA (Ethyl Acetate) process, removing 99.7% of caffeine using mountain water and ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane. The flavor profile features dark chocolate, sweet liquorice, and dried fruit, with a subdued acidity and a long, pleasant finish.
