This coffee is a Gesha Natural from Las Margaritas farm in Valle de Cauca, Colombia, produced by Café Granja La Esperanza. The farm was established in 1945 by Blanca Ligia Correa and Juan Antonio Herrera, and is now managed by their sons Rigoberto and Luis. Café Granja La Esperanza pioneered the Gesha variety in Colombia, with Rigoberto winning the Best of Panama award in 2008. The Gesha variety gained further recognition when used by a competitor who secured 2nd place at the 2021 World Barista Championship.
