GoriffeeAbout This Coffee
A single-origin Colombian coffee sourced from 50 small family farms, each under 5 hectares, located on a highland plateau at 1700 meters altitude in the Cauca region. Coordinated by Cofinet, these farms practice agroforestry, with top-quality cherries selected for Popayan Reserve earning farmers a 20% premium. The coffee is 100% Castillo Arabica, washed (wet) processed, with flavor notes of dried orange, almonds, and chocolate, along with caramel and candied orange aromas. Goriffee
Goriffee is a Bratislava-based roastery with a unique story and a strong focus on social responsibility. The name is a portmanteau of "gorilla" and "coffee," inspired by the founders' travels and deep connection to Rwanda. They have established direct trade relationships with farmers, particularly with the KOPAKAMA cooperative in Rwanda, ensuring ethical practices and fair pay. Their mission is to be a bridge between the farmers and the final cup, roasting with care to honor the producers' hard work and share their stories.
