About This Coffee

Colombia Zarza is a Pink Bourbon coffee from Zarza Farm in Bruselas, Pitalito (Huila), grown at 1540 masl by Alejandra Muñoz Ortiz and Jhonatan Gasca. The cherries undergo a 24-hour oxidation, two-step anaerobic fermentation (24h before depulping, 32h after), thermal shock to remove mucilage, washing with spring water, and drying up to eight days. Cup profile highlights elderflower, blackcurrant, and clementine, with a clean yet slightly funky character suitable for filter and espresso.

Drip Roasters

Drip Roasters is a Bern-based specialty coffee roastery run by brothers Dennys and Fabian. They'd been roasting for two years before opening their café on Eigerplatz in 2020. All their coffees are single origins. The lineup is balanced, from beans that are roasted a shade darker for broader appeal, to special lots that sit on the lighter end. The selection shifts depending on the season, and especially after origin visits, but is always fully traceable.
