About This Coffee

This coffee is grown on the steep, high-altitude slopes of Quindio, Colombia, within the Coffee Triangle region. Sourced from ten small family farms, it is an even split of Caturra and Castillo varieties. The coffee is washed and processed at a dry mill facility managed by local farm owner Hernan Israel Ocendo Usman in Armenia, Quindio. It delivers sweet flavours of candyfloss, marzipan, plum, and strawberry, finishing with dark chocolate, with citric and floral notes complemented by fruity layers over nuts and cocoa.

Grain & Grind

Grain & Grind opened its first coffee shop at the start of 2018 beneath the old Victoria Infirmary buildings on Battlefield Road in Glasgow. A roaster was installed in that original shop and later relocated to Inverness, where master roaster John now hand roasts in small batches across a range of over twenty offerings. The company has grown to eight café locations spread between Glasgow and Inverness. They also run a wholesale supply business providing beans, brew bags, and equipment to cafés, restaurants, and hotels, partnering with San Remo for espresso machines and Mahlkönig for grinders.
