This single-origin coffee is a Typica Mejorado variety from the El Maracuya farm in the Dota Valley, Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, grown at an altitude of 1900 meters. Produced by the Calderón family and processed at their Los Angeles micro-mill, this coffee undergoes a white honey process where cherries are mechanically demucilaged and sun-dried on raised beds. The flavor profile is elegant and delicate, featuring notes of white tea, fresh peaches, and rum and raisin ice cream.
