Kostaryka El Vapor

Good Coffee Micro Roasters

About This Coffee

This coffee is from the El Vapor farm in the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica, grown at 1900 meters altitude. It features the Casiopea variety, a unique F1 hybrid descended from Caturra and Ethiopian Heirloom. The coffee is processed using anaerobic methods at the Santa Teresa processing station, owned by the Ureña family (Roger and Alex). The farm consists of 15 plots in mountainous terrain where ideal conditions of altitude, sunlight, wind, and alternating wet and dry seasons allow for slow cherry maturation. This coffee offers elegant, smooth, and sweet characteristics with flavor notes of mango, pear, and pomelo.
