About This Coffee

This single origin coffee is from Finca Voo, a high altitude farm in Copey de Dota, Tarrazu, Costa Rica, at 1750 meters elevation. The farm is managed by Ivan Gerardo Solís Rivera and Leandra Cordero, acquired by the Solis Cordero family in 2022. The Gesha variety is hand selected at peak ripeness and delivered the same day to the Santa Fe micromill. The black honey processing involves fermenting in piles for 48 hours, washing with clean water, pulping, placing briefly in tanks before sun-drying on beds, then finishing in mechanical dryers at maximum 45°C to 10% humidity. The cup profile features vanilla, lemon zest, brown sugar, and toffee.
