About This Coffee

This coffee is from the La Lia farm and micro mill in Santa Rosa de Leon Cortez, Tarrazú, Costa Rica, owned by brothers Luis and Oscar Monge. The farm sits at 1,900-2,000 meters above sea level. The Geisha variety is cherry rested and dried as white honey process. The coffee has flavor notes of raspberries, lemon-tea, and floral characteristics. The farm has been in the Monge family for almost 70 years, with the micro mill established in 2008 and named after their mother Lia. Only perfectly ripe cherries are handpicked by trained workers who have returned to the farm for 14 years.
