This coffee is from the Aromas del Chirripo plantation in the Brunca region of Costa Rica, located in the Chirripo area. It is grown at altitudes between 1800-2000 meters. The coffee features the Kenyan SL-28 variety grown in Costa Rican terroir and processed using the natural method. After harvesting the ripest cherries, the fruit was washed, sorted, and dried on patios for approximately one month. The coffee comes from young coffee trees that are not yet fully mature. The Aromas del Chirripo farm is a family-operated estate owned by the Wilfredo family, which recently transitioned from fruit cultivation to specialty coffee production.
