Decaf Tatacoa

About This Coffee

This coffee is from the Huila region of Colombia, sourced from 60 small farmers at elevations between 1650-2000 meters. The varieties include Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo. It is a washed coffee decaffeinated using ethyl acetate, a naturally occurring compound derived from fermenting sugar cane. This process preserves the origin character and requires less energy usage as processing is done in Colombia before transport. The coffee features sweetness, dried berry notes, and a distinct caramel finish.
