Ecuador Loja is a washed coffee from the Loja region, sourced from 15 small producers organized through FAPECAFES. The blend features Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica Mejorado varieties grown at 1700-1900 meters altitude. Coffees are fermented in cherry for 12-24 hours, then in mucilage for 24-36 hours, and dried on raised beds for 15-25 days. Cupping notes reveal a rounded body with light citrus acidity, rich milk chocolate, and tropical sweetness.
