This coffee features the rare Wush Wush variety, originally from the Wush Wush valley in Ethiopia, grown at El Fénix farm in Calarcá, Quindío, Colombia. The farm faces the Cauca Valley with optimal microclimate conditions. It undergoes Mosto Washed processing: cherries are floated, pulped, then fermented in tanks with mosto fermentation liquid for 24-48 hours before being washed through serpentine density channels and dried on raised beds for 2-3 weeks. The coffee displays intense berry notes with floral characteristics.
