El Rejo

About This Coffee

El Rejo is a Peruvian coffee from the one-hectare farm of the same name, located in San José del Alto, Jaén, at 1,750–1,800 masl. Grown by farmer José Rivera and his wife Mariagracia Echeandía, the farm is planted primarily with Sidra variety, shaded by banana trees. Processed using extended fermentation washed method. The cup offers bright and crisp acidity with layered notes of red currant and guava, honey-like sweetness, and a delicate pink floral finish.
