Washed Ethiopian landrace coffee from Sidama region at 2200-2300 meters elevation, produced by Elto Coffee at their Bona station. Varieties 74158, 74165, 74110, and 74112. Light roast with vibrant citrus and floral notes including Cara Cara orange, lemon, bergamot, and a delicate honeyed black tea finish. Traditionally washed and dried on raised beds.

Founded in 2020 at the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, Moonwake Coffee Roasters emerged from the passion of two former tech engineers, Ming Wood from Tesla and Mabel Yeung from Meta. What began as Ming's personal coffee project within Tesla's internal coffee club evolved into a full roastery operation after both founders chose to leave their tech careers to pursue coffee full time between 2023 and 2024. Moonwake represents a growing movement of technologists who discovered that coffee roasting offers greater fulfillment than their previous careers, channeling engineering precision into specialty coffee.
