This coffee is sourced from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia, grown at 2160 meters above sea level in a dense, mountainous forest. It is a washed coffee roasted to a light level. The coffee exhibits a piquant florality with bright, complex acidity featuring lime and bergamot, backed by stone fruit sweetness reminiscent of ripe peach.
Calioh Coffee was founded in 2015 by husband and wife team Tom and Janine O'Neill, with a roastery in Camarillo and a retail café in Moorpark, California. All coffee is roasted on a Loring Smart Roast S15 Falcon, an energy efficient machine that produces 80% less emissions than traditional roasters. The range includes single origin coffees, blends, seasonal micro lots, and USDA Organic certified options, sourced through direct trade relationships and specialty importers.
