About This Coffee

A single-origin specialty coffee from Ethiopia, produced by Ayele Adola in the Garbicho, Roggicha, and Guji regions at 2,100 meters altitude. The variety is 74158 (Wolega), processed using the classic Ethiopian Natural method — cherries are dried on African raised beds for 25–30 days before dry hulling. Filter roasted with tasting notes of berries, plum, and floral. Scored 87 points. Produced from Ayele Adola's own 10-hectare farm.

Animal Coffee

Animal Coffee started as a small specialty coffee space in Barcelona's Sarria neighbourhood in 2015 and began roasting its own beans the following year. They work exclusively with 100% Arabica, using a light roasting approach adapted to each origin to draw out its characteristic notes. Roasting happens weekly to keep deliveries as fresh as possible. Beyond the roastery, they run a barista training centre offering courses from beginner to advanced levels, as well as consultancy for businesses setting up coffee operations. They supply roasted beans to offices and private customers across Spain.
