About This Coffee

This coffee is produced by Basha Bekele, who operates six production stations across Sidamo, Ethiopia, with this particular lot from the Kokose site in the Bensa District. Grown at an elevation of 1800-2200 meters, the coffee is naturally processed, drying on sun patios for three to five weeks with frequent turning. The beans are from varieties 74158, 74110, 74112, and Sidamo Landrace. This light roast yields tasting notes of peaches, cream, blackberry, mango, and honeysuckle.

Cloud City Coffee was founded in 2002 by Jill Killen in Seattle's Maple Leaf neighborhood as a gathering place built around great coffee. Killen earned her Q Grader certification in 2017 and began roasting the following year from a facility in Seattle's Georgetown district.
