About This Coffee

A washed single-origin coffee from the Chelbesa Washing Station, located in the Gedeb district within the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, at approximately 2000 meters altitude. The coffee is sourced from 765 smallholder farmers who deliver ripe red cherries during harvest. The washing station, built by SNAP Specialty Coffee in 2019, uses ceramic fermentation tanks that retain heat, accelerating fermentation and producing a particularly clear cup. Varieties are Wolisho and Dega. Roasted as a filter coffee with notes of mirabelle, raspberry, and citrus blossom.
