About This Coffee

A washed single-origin coffee from the Chelbesa Washing Station in the Gedeb district, Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, grown at 2000 meters altitude. The coffee is sourced from 765 smallholder farmers who deliver ripe, red cherries to the station. The station, built by SNAP Specialty Coffee in 2019, uses ceramic fermentation tanks for precise processing. Varieties are Wolisho and Dega. Flavor notes include mirabelle plum, raspberry, and citrus blossom. Roasted as espresso.
