About This Coffee

A washed Ethiopian coffee from the Chelbesa washing station in the Gedeb region, grown at 2150–2200 meters above sea level. Produced by Ephtah Specialty Coffee, the station employs up to 150 seasonal workers and operates approximately 2 hectares with 150 drying beds. The Heirloom variety undergoes dry fermentation followed by 10–15 days of drying on raised beds. Flavor notes include black tea with lemon, strawberry, and honey cookie. Available roasted for both filter and espresso.

Father's Coffee Roastery

RepublicThis Ostrava based family roastery was founded in 2017 by husband and wife duo Petr and Marie, who previously worked as baristas at Berlin's Five Elephant cafe. What started as a small family business with dad roasting and mom tasting while the kids watched has grown to a team of over 10 people with a Prague showroom opening in Bubenč. They roast on an American made five pound Diedrich IR-5 roaster with quality as their number one priority, offering regularly rotating harvests from around the world. Their Mothership espresso blend has become beloved by baristas and home enthusiasts for its full creamy body and milk chocolate flavor.
