About This Coffee

This coffee is from the Idido region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, grown at elevations between 1,940 and 1,985 meters above sea level. The heirloom variety is processed using ORO™ Yeast Fermentation over 3 days, followed by 18 days of drying on raised African beds. The coffee is grown in brown, red, loamy soil with approximately 1,505 mm of annual rainfall. Harvested between October and November, this medium roast delivers flavor notes of pineapple, wine, raspberry, and plums with bright acidity and a medium, juicy body. The controlled yeast fermentation enhances sweetness, complexity, and fruit-forward characteristics while maintaining Ethiopia's signature floral and citrus elegance.
