Ethiopia-Riripa Village-West Arsi Oromia-Natural
R Ki Coffee LabAbout This Coffee
A natural-processed coffee from smallholder producers in the Riripa village, Nensebo woreda, West Arsi zone of Ethiopia's Oromia region. Ripe cherries were delivered by 822 producers to SNAP's Riripa washing station, operated by Negusse Debela. Local farmers grow Landrace and JARC varieties. Cherries are manually harvested, dried on raised beds, turned frequently, and covered during the hottest hours and at night to control drying rates. West Arsi shares many production characteristics with the neighboring Sidama region.
