This Ethiopia Sidama is a single-origin coffee produced by Bekele Yutute. Grown at an altitude of 1900 meters, this coffee is processed using the natural method. It offers a smooth, round cup profile characterized by gentle malic acidity and a caramelized sugar sweetness. The flavor profile features delicate fruit tones, specifically notes of plum and berry.
Terry and Rebecca Patano founded DOMA Coffee Roasting Company in 2000, naming it after their two sons, Dominic and Marco. What started as a passion project in the garage grew into a full operation based in Post Falls, Idaho, with a second cafe in Coeur d'Alene. DOMA roasts on a Loring Smart Roaster nicknamed Lucky 13, the thirteenth Loring ever made, which consumes 80 percent less natural gas than conventional equipment. The company sources exclusively through direct relationships with farmers and importers, and every employee receives SCA training. An Ethiopia Suke Quto was a 2015 Good Food Awards finalist, and the brand has earned multiple national ADDY Awards for its packaging design.
