This coffee is from the Sidamo region of Ethiopia, known as the birthplace of coffee. Grown at altitudes between 1400-2200 meters, the coffee benefits from cooler temperatures and slower maturation that develops complex sugars and acids. The producer, Daye Bensa, was established in 1996 and has won the Cup of Excellence for three consecutive years from 2020-2022. Ethiopian Sidamo coffees are characteristically floral, fruity, and sweet in flavor profile.
