This coffee comes from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia, grown at over 2000 meters altitude. It is produced by several small producers and processed at Boledu station using the fully washed method. The coffee features local Arabica varieties and has a new harvest designation. The flavor profile is delicate and floral with notes of bergamot, mandarin, and sugar cane. It is organic certified and suitable for espresso, cappuccino, Italian coffee maker, fully automatic machines, and filter methods.

Pouponne & Loulette is an artisanal specialty roastery based in Fribourg, founded by Camille, a former forensic scientist who left her career to pursue coffee. The story began when she bought a small roaster for home use, then trained with roasters in Basel and Copenhagen before striking out on her own. Her roastery operates within the restaurant Les Menteurs, where she carefully selects beans for their flavor qualities and adapts her roasting to each coffee's origin and fermentation process. The focus is on traceability, fair producer compensation, and environmentally responsible production. Pouponne & Loulette offers freshly roasted specialty coffee for both espresso and filter preparation, in whole bean or ground. It is a personal, hands on operation shaped by curiosity and a commitment to doing things with integrity.
