This coffee originates from the Oromia Regional State of Ethiopia, which encompasses the Yirgacheffe growing area. It is produced through the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (OCFCU), an umbrella organization supporting over 400 cooperatives and 400,000 households. OCFCU has been Fairtrade and Organic certified since 2002. The coffee is processed using the washed method.
