Adams & Russell

About This Coffee

This Fairtrade certified coffee is from the CECANOR Cooperative in the Chiclayo region of Lambayeque, Peru, grown at altitudes between 1400-1800 meters above sea level. The cooperative is the first Café Femenino concept in the world, focused on addressing gender imbalance in the coffee industry. The coffee features Bourbon, Catimor, and Typica varieties processed using the washed method. Flavor profile includes dark chocolate, fudge, and brown sugar notes with bright acidity and berry and stone fruit flavors backed by a soft cocoa bitterness. The slow maturation of the coffee fruit at high altitude contributes to the development of bright acidity.
