This coffee is a Gesha variety from Finca La Aurora in Piedra Candela, Volcan, Chiriqui, Panama, produced by Roberto Brenes and the Auromar Family. Grown at 1,770 meters above sea level, this washed-process coffee won 1st Place in the Geisha Washed category at the 2022 Best of Panama competition. The farm spans 30.5 hectares with 14.5 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation, shaded by native trees and Hass avocado trees. Floral notes of cherry blossom accompany flavors of mandarin candy, white grapes, yuzu, and honey sweetness. The estate maintains forest conservation and provides above-average wages to workers from the Ngobe-Bugle indigenous group.
