About This Coffee

This coffee undergoes a co-fermented natural anaerobic process with dehydrated passion fruits added to the tank during fermentation. Produced by Brayan Alvear, a 19-year-old coffee producer. A blend of Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia varieties. The coffee exhibits vibrant passion fruit aromatics and flavors with notes of pomegranate. Bright and sweet profile. Roasted to order in micro batches.

The Artery Community Roasters

The Artery Community Roasters is a social enterprise based in Ottawa, Ontario, employing people living with disabilities at living wages. They roast in small batches on a Coffee Crafters Artisan XL with a capacity of up to 10 pounds per roast, and ship within one week of roasting. Sourcing is done on a direct trade basis, maintaining one to two degrees of separation from the farmers. The Artery was named Coffee Roaster of the Month by Commonly Coffee.
