This coffee is sourced from the Gahahe washing station in the Kayanza region of Burundi at 1,805 meters altitude. This marks the eighth consecutive year the roaster has acquired coffee from this station. The washing station features 10 fermentation tanks, 4 cherry selection tables, and 180 drying beds, with capacity to process up to 750 tons of cherries annually. The Gahahe station participates in the Farmer Hub project, supporting local cooperatives and sustainable agricultural practices, including organic fertilizers made from composted coffee pulp.
