This is a washed Typica variety coffee from San Miguel, Jalapa region in Guatemala, grown at 1800 meters altitude. Produced by Jose Antonio Ramirez and his family as part of the Grupo Los Ramirez cooperative. The coffee cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, mechanically depulped, fermented for approximately 36 hours, and sun-dried on platforms for about 20 days. The coffee offers a fresh and pleasantly fruity character with notes of pomegranate, white currant, citrus, and tea with a calm, harmonious profile.
