A Green Tip Geisha from Los Lajones farm in Volcán, Chiriquí, Panama, produced by HIU Coffee and Graciano Cruz. Grown at 1750–2400 masl on volcanic slopes of Volcán Barú, the cherries mature slowly in mineral-rich soil. This is Lot 20B, processed naturally with traditional fermentation. The cup offers bright bergamot, crisp white grapefruit, and a refined black tea finish — clean, layered, and structured, balancing intensity with finesse.

Ripsnorter Coffee

Zjevaun Janga founded Ripsnorter Coffee in Rotterdam in 2017 after previously operating Harvest Coffee Brewers, and in January 2024 he won the Dutch Barista Championship, a title he prepared for by isolating himself daily during the final month of training to perfect every element of his performance. The roastery was born after Janga started brewing coffee for his own coffee shop and decided to take control of the roasting as well, working directly with coffee farmers from around the world and rotating the offering frequently in a restless chase for flavor, clarity, and fun that moves between classic washed lots and wild experimental fermentations. Ripsnorter's coffee bar in Rotterdam is described as warm, minimal, and full of character, a space inspired by 1980s culture and aesthetics where the tagline is the Australian slang expression It's bloody ripper, a phrase that captures the unserious energy Janga brings to an operation built on very serious coffee. The mission is to give customers a good feeling and put a smile on their faces rather than to compete or perfect the game, and the team serves with care rather than ego, a philosophy that makes Ripsnorter one of the most approachable specialty experiences in a Rotterdam scene that can sometimes lean toward the cerebral.
