This Honduran coffee is produced by AMPROCAL, an all-female association of over 100 women coffee producers in the La Labor region of Ocotepeque. The coffee is grown at altitudes between 1000-1700 meters and features Pacas and Catuai varieties. It is washed processed. AMPROCAL is Fairtrade certified with 39 members registered Organic. The cooperative was founded in 2007 to strengthen female producers' presence, and now operates their own roastery and coffee shop. The coffee exhibits tasting notes of chocolate, hazelnut, and raisin.
