This single-origin coffee is from Honduras, specifically from the Las Lomas farm in Dulce Nombre De Jesus, La Paz region. Produced by Marsabel Caballero Moises at 1580 meters altitude. The variety is Catuai, processed using the washed method. The coffee features peach fruitiness, apricot-like acidity, and smooth sweetness reminiscent of honey and caramel. The farm has been in Marsabel's family since 1910 and has won first place multiple times in Cup of Excellence Honduras competitions. The washed process involves fermenting ripe cherries in grain pro bags for 48 hours, washing, 8 hours of patio pre-drying, followed by 72 hours of mechanical drying in a Guardiola.
