About This Coffee

El Jilguero is a coffee from a small 10-hectare farm in the Marcala region of Honduras. The coffee is honey processed and features a mild, balanced profile with notes of marzipan and honey with a hint of cassis without pronounced acidity. The Catuai variety is grown at altitudes between 1250-1470 meters. This coffee is suitable for all preparation methods, developing a pronounced but not astringent fruit note as espresso, and combines well with milk for a harmonious, mild cappuccino without bitter overtones.
