TADAH kafferosteri

About This Coffee

India Monsooned Malabar AA is a classic coffee from India's west coast, specifically from the Keezhanthoor region in Karnataka and Kerala. This specialty coffee is produced by 399 smallholders who are part of Manarcadu Social Service Society, growing the beans at 1400-1500 meters altitude. The unique monsooning process involves exposing the beans to moist monsoon winds for 12-16 weeks, resulting in larger, paler beans with low acidity and a particularly full-bodied profile. The varieties include Kents, S.795, and Catimor. The coffee presents tasting notes of brown spices, oak wood, and dark chocolate with a rich, smooth cup character and long finish.
